We are hiring a TaxAccountantfor a local Public Accounting Firm. The Tax Accountant will be part of the organization's goals, philosophy, and mission, providing full-cycle support to the accounting team.
As the Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and/or businesses in compliance with current regulations.
Conduct tax research to ensure accuracy and identify potential savings opportunities or risk areas.
Maintain organized records of financial statements, tax filings, and supporting documentation.
Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and support long-term financial goals.
Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and advise management accordingly.
Who qualifies for the Tax Accountant role?
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
1+ years of Tax accounting experience.
Knowledge of individual and/or business tax returns.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
How much will you earn as the Tax Accountant?
Annual Salary; $65K-$85K.
