Our partner in the Southwest metro is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. The company has experienced a lot of growth due to purchasing several companies. The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
Responsible for the accounting of multiple business units
Month-end responsibilities including GL reconciliation
Maintain chart of accounts
Prepare and post journal entries
Reconcile inventory and credit cards
Communicate with internal and external customers
Contribute to process improvement
Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:
Bachelor’s degree required – Accounting or Finance
Have worked 1+ years in public accounting doing audit
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Proficient Excel skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting at all levels
Proven ability to organize work and meet deadlines
WIP reporting experience preferred
How much will you earn as the Senior Accountant?
Starting salary is $80,000 to $90,000 annually
