We are hiring an Accounting Managerfor a small transportation company with a strong community presence. The Accounting Manager will have 3 direct reports and will be part of the organization's continued growth and process improvement.
As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:
Lead and manage 3 accountants
Responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting
Oversee month end close process
Handle payroll through QuickBooks (desktop and online) and ERP systems like McCloud and Lightspeed.
Collaborate with the CPA firm during year-end tax preparation (calendar year-end).
Manage intercompany transactions for 10-11 entities.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Who qualifies for the Accounting Manager role?
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
2+ years of accounting experience working in the transportation industry is highly preferred
4+ years of supervisory or management experience
2+ years of payroll processing experience
Technology savvy. Experience using ERP's, payroll systems and reporting tools
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments
How much will you earn as the Accounting Manager?
Annual Salary: $100K+
